J.W. Roth, Co-Founder/Co-Chairman

J.W. has more than twenty years of private and public company experience in more than 10 different industries. He has founded, financed, and/or served as an executive officer and board member for multiple startup and early stage companies, including AspenBio (NASDAQ: APPY), IMI Global (OTCBB: INMG),  Sound Technologies, and Cattlenetwork.com.  Instrumental in the financing and/or business development of many small cap companies, and having raised over $100,000,000 in junior company financings, J.W. has been featured in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, Fortune Magazine and over 50 business journals throughout the United States. He has also made multiple appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg Television.

 

Dave Lavigne, Co-Founder/Co-Chairman/Senior Research Analyst

Dave was also the founder of Edgewater Research Partners LLC.   He has spent more than 25 years in the securities industry primarily employed by small sell-side broker dealers involved in the provisioning of both investment banking and research services to micro cap and small cap companies.  Dave’s experience includes creating research and analysis for retail and institutional clients, as well as research that augmented the corporate finance departments of his respective firms.  His research has encompassed several dozen public companies.  He holds a BS degree in Finance from the University of Idaho.

 


Gary Tedder, President of Southern Hospitality Franchisee Holding Corporation
 

Gary brings a wealth of experience from almost 40 years as an entrepreneur and business development director for various companies, from real estate to entertainment and numerous emerging private and public companies.  Additionally, he has been instrumental in making strategic introductions throughout the nonprofit world and business community, through creatively deploying contact capital from his extensive network.

His abilities to identify individuals and companies seeking great ideas or great sources of capital, has enabled him to attract significant investment dollars, strategic partners and issuers to the parent company (AMHC) and its subsidiaries.  Gary is married and the father of a rock star and international music producer/writer son.
 
 


Ned Manning, Director, Business Development

Ned joined AMI in May of 2010, having worked in Business Development for the last 10 years as part of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce.  Ned's key role at Accredited Members is working closely with companies that fit the AMI mold and bringing those organizations on board as Annual Issuers, Presenters, Exhibitors, and Sponsors.   Ned also works with AMI members and investors to ensure that they have all the tools they need to fully enjoy the AMI experience. 

 
 


Vicki McGee, AMI Magazine Director

Since Vicki joined AMI in December 2009 she has performed a multitude of roles.   Currently Vicki is Director of the quarterly AMI magazine, putting together articles of interest to our investor and financial professional readership, and on the look out for companies who would like to advertise to our exclusive high net worth audience.   She is always interested to hear from potential authors who have a point of view, technical knowledge, or industry expertise from any arena in the micro cap world. 

Having lived in Colorado for just over 2 years, she has just recently become acclimated to the dry high mountain desert climate after living in the maritime climate of her native Scotland.

 Heather Atkinson
 


Heather Atkinson, Controller

Heather joined the AMI team in September 2010 and has evolved into the role of Controller.  She has over 12 years of accounting experience in both public and private companies.  Heather’s key role of Accredited Members is creating and consolidating the financial statements of Accredited Members and its subsidiaries.  Along with this, Heather oversees the SEC reporting while working closely with the outside audit and legal firms.  She is also involved in contract executions for AMI products and fielding shareholders’ inquiries.

Heather is a CPA and holds a BS degree in Accounting from Evangel University.

 Patricia Hammond
 


Patricia Hammond, Bookkeeper & HR

“Aunt Patty”, as she is affectionately known around the office -  as she is JW’s Aunt - keeps the office running smoothly.  Patty has been part of AMI since the start and is involved in a multitude of activities including the human resources function of Accredited Members and its subsidiaries.  She is also the bookkeeper and assists in the accounting functions of the company.  Aunt Patty is a team player and helps out in any department that is needed.

Patty relocated three years ago from Santa Barbara, California, where she retired from the Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Department after 21 years of service.

 Brandy Fugate
 


Brandy Fugate, Marketing & Events Assistant

Brandy joined the AMI team January 2011 and has taken on the role of Marketing and Events Assistant.  She helps implement AMI’s marketing plans for conferences, membership and sponsor sales through the AMI websites and publications.  In addition, she is involved in conference planning, execution and logistics, as well as creating and distributing pre- and post-conference information to client companies.
