Our strategy

At AMI, we believe a balanced and diversified portfolio is the key to a strong, stable and consistent ROI. We believe that in order to handily outperform the averages, an allocation of between 4% and 7% of most portfolios should be in well-researched micro cap stocks.

We also believe that it is this allocation that enhances most portfolios and allows for returns substantially higher than the averages. Remember, a micro cap stock is simply a company with a small market capitalization (valuation). Microsoft, Apple and even Ford Motor Company were micro caps at one time. Think of it this way: some of the greatest companies 10 or 20 years from now are companies you’ve never heard of today. The challenge with any micro cap strategy becomes how to find those hidden or not-so-obvious opportunities.

Our job at AMI is to aggressively hunt, research and, in the end, uncover those companies poised to become big winners. The winners are difficult to uncover, as many times these stocks have been passed up or overlooked. Sometimes these companies have complex issues that take time to understand.
